Our syllabus project helps our students to achieve the objectives established at each one of the different stages taught at our school.
In addition to the core subject itself, Spanish Language and Literature, we offer our students Language reinforcement and “The writers workshop” in order to improve linguistic abilities in our pupils, between 16.00 and 17.00 in the afternoon. Students can be divided into groups in different classrooms when necessary to assist with specific needs.
ValdeSerra encourages Reading as a basis to acquire knowledge in any area. We consider it essential to obtain the critical skills and vocabulary needed to evaluate what they read and explain their perceptions both in oral and written form and to become independent, original and critical thinkers.
If the reading process is supported by technique it then helps to build up lexicon so necessary for the communication process.
Thus, from an early age, we encourage reading as a source for both pleasure and discovery.
